The decor in the room was modern and inviting. Noise from the lively bar next door made sleeping difficult.

Lovely small place, I truly enjoyed efficient personnel.
The room was silent and tidy with a shower and a bidet in the private bathroom.

Superb location and a clean, well-run hotel with a very good breakfast service
It was a bit more expensive than other comparable hotels we used in Italy

Room was cozy and clean, but no fridge made it tough in the heat.

the location and breakfast
our toilet flush did not working, even not, after the third repairment... and the room was undone when we arrived....

Difficult to find. Signs indicating direction of the hotel stopped well short of true location. Took an hour to find and found it only when a man walking his dog who lived on the same street showed us. We were once within one block and were unaware. Part of this is due to the street signage, jet lag etc but one more sign would have helped.

Hotel Torino is great location in the heart of Parma. The charming staff provided excellent recommendations and the room was impeccably clean with a modern design. The breakfast had a good variety, including fresh fruit and pastries.
Street noise from nearby bar.

This good small and charming hotel occupies a lovely building in the Italian style. The rooms are great value for money with a spacious balcony overlooking rooftops- very nice and our experience is pleasant.

We must have had the best room in the hotel with a charming roof terrace where we relaxed and had breakfast.
Whilst the directions were reasonable, we had great difficulty in finding the hotel. Formal address is Borgo, not Via, and I could not find this on the map, nor could my satnav. We had to ask directions about four times, and the location of the hotel in a pedestrian area made driving difficult. You should make it clear that cars may drive to their hotels, and provide a map as well as driving instructions. Google Maps, for example does not show the street.

Its central location is ideal for shopping, museums, historical sights & (in season) concerts. Just a 15 minute walk from the train station makes it convenient for visiting via train. The single room was very efficient & made good use of the compact space & the free wi-fi hotspot was a bonus. The lobby area and breakfast area were both very pleasant
1. Staff As a 14 year hospitality manager I rate the hotel staff as average to low. They may be "off their game" during this off-season,still a smile or eye contact is a small request. 2. Breakfast - was a 2 star offering in a 3-star hotel. Again, maybe in high season this is better but in this fabulous region of salumi and wonderful fruit not a slice of cheese or cold cut was available & canned prunes were the fruit. Some croissants and sliced bread sat along with lots of packages of rice cakes, melba toast and other cracker-type offerings. Having just come from 3-star properties in Milan and Venice its obviously a cheap guest amenity that detracts from the plusses. 3. Room noise - little floor/ceiling insulation that amplified heels, drawers slamming above.

The shower cubicle was tiny, a disgrace for any self-respecting hotel. The breakfast was fair, but really the coffee was of such low quality, i nearly couldn't drink it. It woudl ve been nice to get a complimentary upgrade considering the inconvenience. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't bring myself to do it.

The situation, it is very close to the city center. Services are correct (free wifi, room is clean).
Rooms are very small, breakfast was very basic, it can be a bit noisy because of centric situation.

the location was superb for attending the opera and seeing the major sights. The room was very small, but adequate. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
The bed was poor; drooping in the middle. Also, in order to have any air in the room, the window had to be open and there was a lot of street noise. Breakfast was mediocre, but there is a very nice caffe right at the corner.
